Sandra Lou (Sandi) Herschel, 88, of Trinidad, CO, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026. She was born on March 16,1938 to Everett and Frances Wheeler in Chico, CA. She is preceded in death by the love of her life and husband, Paul Herschel, her eldest son, Tim Herschel, her loving parents and many of her dear friends. She is survived by her children Vickie Carver of Trinidad, CO; Cindy Garcia (Beuford) of Boncarbo, CO; Mark Herschel of Pueblo, CO; her grandchildren: Jason Singleton, Jix Garcia, Rachel Bradford, Sandra Herschel, Lacy Wolfe, John Herschel, Jeremy Carver and Michael Herschel; and many great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. She loved being a social butterfly, working for elections, doing hobbies, taking rides to the mountains, picnicking at the lakes, and spending time with those she held dear to her. She was a proud LA Raiders fan. Sandi’s smile, kindness and love for her family and friends will never be forgotten. She will be greatly missed by many and her memory will be cherished always.
