We remember and celebrate the life of Ashley Rose Greathouse, age 19, who passed away in a fatal car accident in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Ashley was born on August 12, 2006, in Pueblo, Colorado, to Felicia Naomi Thompson and Faren Greathouse Sr. She was a student at GOAL Academy, having completed the 12th grade. Ashley was single and known for her fun-loving spirit and the joy she brought to those around her.

Ashley was raised by her grandparents, Linda and Mike Thompson, who cared for her throughout her life. In addition, her godmother, Bernadette Trujillo, was not only a guiding presence but also Ashley’s caregiver for 18 years, providing her with love and support that shaped who she was.

Ashley was a passionate advocate for Trinidad Autism Awareness, dedicating her time and energy to raising awareness and making a difference in her community.

Ashley enjoyed shopping, horseback riding, bingo, swimming, camping, eating out, and bowling. She loved spending time with family and friends and created many cherished memories.

She was preceded in death by Mike Thompson, her grandfather; Aunt Barbara Thompson of Trinidad Colorado, her great-grandparents, Maxine and Ben Martinez; her Great grandmother, Ethel Thompson; Hap (Leland) Thompson; and her Aunt Emily Marie Gallegos.

Ashley is survived by her mother, Felicia Thompson and Diamond Orndoff of Denver, Colorado; her father, Faren Greathouse Sr. of New Mexico; her grandmother, Linda Thompson; her brother, Faren Greathouse Jr.; her sister, Kristanna Thompson; her grandmother, Sheila Malouf, from New Mexico. Along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends who will deeply miss her. Special mention to her aunt and uncle, Esther and Raymond Martinez of Trinidad Colorado, and Christine and Mark Ritz Pueblo west, Colorado.

Celebration of life services will be held on May 18, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Comi Funeral Home in Trinidad, Colorado, with clergy Raymond Martinez officiating. A reception will follow at St. Joseph's Church.

Ashley’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
